Whether you are an aspiring bartender with little or no experience, or are a bartender looking to better your skills and expand your knowledge; basic and advanced bartending is a certification program perfect for you. Specifically, students who are enrolled in this program will be taught: the history of the bar, roles of a bartender, bar areas and draft systems, mixology, opening and closing procedures, cleanliness habits, customer relations, glassware, the art of pouring a drink, liquor labs, barbacking, and cocktail serving. Additionally, students will be taught the history of social media and will be provided with a step-by-step guide teaching the skills necessary to promote themselves and the venue they work for.
