Masters Program -- Bar Ownership and Management

The Bar Ownership and Management Program is designed to introduce and train students in the concept, development, and implementation of effective day-to-day operational management strategies in the food and beverage industry. These courses are designed for new or prospective bar owners with little or no experience within the bar and restaurant industry. The courses will take students through the process of conceiving, designing, and opening a new bar or purchasing an existing operation. Students will be taught a wide variety of topics including: calculating gross profit margins, cost controls, theft prevention, perpetual inventory systems, human resources, marketing and promotions, trend forecasting, drink and food pricing, sanitation, competition, and product development.

Upon purchase of the Bar Ownership and Management Program, students will have access to BarUniversties’ Basic and Advanced Bartending Program free of cost. Additionally, students will have free reign over our digital library which is loaded with industry web links and sample files that will assist you in developing a business plan and design for your new bar venture.

BarUniversity offers all alumni free lifetime access to all of our materials. This means that any course that a student took with us will be available to take again at any time free of charge. This industry is forever-growing; BarUniversity promises to always provide the latest, up-to-date information to keep our students prepared and the most knowledgeable they can be.
